Windows 7: How to make taskbar NOT transparent?

How to make taskbar NOT transparent?

i tried to search in google. all i found is how to make task total transparent.



but i want to make it NOT transparent at all.

Using the basic theme is the easiest way. You can also up the color intensity, which will make it less transparent. IMO its not hardly noticeable that the transparency is still effect at all when color intensity is at its max.

What method did you find for making it completely transparent? I might try it out sometime.

Hello Hekod,

You can disable transparency to have a solid taskbar. This will also effect all window borders as well though.

I can't believe I forgot the simplest method. Go to control panel. Click performance info and tools or system. Go to adjust visual effects. Untick enable transparent glass. Excuse me while I go kick myself for not thinking of that in the first place.

EDIT: of course brink beat me to it.
