I've installed same windows 7 at different parition due to my previous ones (Z:) was broken.
Now I install a brand new windows 7 at parition (C:) and I want to remove the old one (Z:), but I find that "Active and Boot" still remain at my old one.
So my question is there are any ways to make "Active, Boot and System" at parition (C:) and format the old one (Z:)?

From the booted Win7 DVD Repair console or Repair CD, use DISKPART to mark C:Win7 "Active" while marking Z:Backup "Inactive:" Partition - Mark as Active
Then boot into Repair console, click through to Recovery Tools list to run Startup Repair up to 3 separate times with reboots to write the System MBR to Win7 partition. Startup Repair
Thanks you, that's work, finally. The "Startup repair" don't even recongized my windows last night.
Also I manged to remove old windows in boot menu by using "bcdedit /delete".

Just for general help to all, I share this reply post.
If you can access your any of windows 7 OS in your Computer, yo don't need any third party software or repairing CDs, just right clik on my Computer & clik manage go to disk management & right clik on C partition & clik mark as active & confirm the the message that's appear, windows 7 will automatically changes the C partition as active & the other partitions none active, then reboot the computer you will get startup error message assking to use Windows repair DVD or such message, Just insert your OS related DVD and run startup repair, let it finish & reboot, it will write MBR to your new C Windows 7, then you can format your Z partition. best wishes to all.
Yes Adol, that's option One in Mark Partition Active.
However most often you need to run Startup Repair up to 3 Separate Times for it to work fully.
