After the clean install menus are small

The clan install went nicely. However, the menu area of all my programs appear smaller. I have to squint or use the magnifier, which is cumbersome. What did I miss?

Do you remember what theme you were using before the reinstall?

Check whether any of the the Basic or High Contrast theme suits you.

Right click on the blank desktop area>personalize>Window Color>Advanced appearance setting and this dialog box should appear, where you can change the color and font size of the various items including the Menu.

After the clean install menus are small-wcamenu.jpg

As stated in that dialog box, color and sizes selected here will apply only if you have selected the Windows 7 Basic Theme or an Ease of Access theme.

    Hope this helps.

Before doing that I'd rightclick on empty area of desktop, select Screen Resolution, choose Make Text and other Items Larger, set it around 18% custom size to see how that works.

For Browsers, maximize window then use Control + to bring it to full screen size enlargement, or larger.

Did that. Set text to 150%. Problem solved. Now I don't have to squint. Thanks all.
