    What's the Deal with WMPnetwk.exe?

Only happened today. My fans started going at 100% when I wasn't at the computer. Had a look in resource monitor & saw that wmpnetwk.exe was using over 20% of the cpu.

Didn't know what was going on so I rebooted. WMP started up again. This time I terminated it at the resource monitor. After a few seconds it started again.

Checked my network connection, nothing going on there.

After 5 minutes or so it turned itself off.

    What is going on?
