Photoshop for XP on Win 7 home

I have been using Photoshop CS4 for XP and just ordered a new computer with Windows 7 Home Premium. It seems in order to load my 'old' version of PSCS4 to the new machine, I'll have to upgrade to Windows 7 Professional, which has an XP mode. Is this correct? Or will the XP PSCS4 work on Windows 7 Home? I really need the least expensive solution here - cant afford to upgrade to PSCS5.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I've bought every level of CS package from CS2 up for my graphic designer, and there's no such thing (at least that I've never seen) as Photoshop for XP. CS4 runs perfectly fine on Windows 7.

Windows 7 isn't mentioned because they want you to buy CS5. Click the link about Windows 7 compatibility, and it will take you to the order page for CS5. CS2, CS3, CS4, and CS5 all run just fine on Windows 7.

If you don't want to take my word for it, run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor.

That's awesome guys - thanks. I bought it so long ago I just assumed it was OS specific. Can't wait to receive the new machine!
