Windows 7 - URGENT HELP Needed.

I'll make a long story short. I'm on Build 7100, and for some reason, all of my DL'd apps (Ones that weren't bundled with Windows 7) were deleted, and/or they stopped working. I couldn't open anything.

I end up re-installing Windows 7, and I have two problems:

1. I can't install Java, which would make a few apps work. It says I'm missing a DLL.
2. I install iTunes (64-bit), and it never opens.

WTF is going on?

What DLL does it say you're missing? And check the event log, application log specifically to see if that sheds any light on the itunes issue.

How do I check the event log? (Also, the problem started to happen with AIM, as well)

Go to the start menu and start typing "Event Viewer" and you will see it

Did you upgrade install or clean install? If the first one you will have to clean install.

Cam, if you are missing a DLL, then a repair should fix that. If you did do an upgrade install, then do the clean install first.

There's something odd going on here, I'd most definetely clean install.
