    Problems with search bars

I recently upgraded my computer to Windows 7 Ultimate.

I've been having problems with search bars since the upgrade. For instance, I would enter something, let's say "George Washington" into the wikipedia search bar. For some weird reason, the text would appear very slowly and some letters would be missing. So, I would see "Geore Wahinto" slowly appear in the search bar.

I've tried waiting a little longer after the site has loaded to make sure it has been completely loaded, but that didn't seem to work. This problem shows up when I use other search bars as well, since as getting "IND" in a stock ticker search bar when I clearly typed "INDU" to look at the Dow Jones.

Other than the search bar problem, all the other text I type (such as this post) appears on the screen just fine, so I don't think my keyboard is the problem.

You don't give us any details about your laptop's specifications. If you go to User CP at the top of this page you can enter all your details there. If you don't know your specs download Belarc Advisor fro here:
Belarc Advisor - Free Personal PC Audit
and run that. All your details will be shown on the result sheet. Before upgrading to Windows 7 did you do the Upgrade test? How did you upgrade? From a Purchased Disc or a download? Where did your copy of Windows 7 come from?
