Here is our tutorial on changing permisiisons.
If this does not work, you may have to take ownership; but one step at a time.

tried both no success..i noticed in security that all permission boxes are checked except 'special pernissions' and i can preview it when i open it up in the library but not as a preview when i select the 'upload option' at the website just prior to clicking 'upload'

Sorry, I don't know any of those users, but that seems like quite a few there.

You don't know where they came from?

    Memory thief,

Now here's a liitle trick to get rid of permission problems.

    Fat32 doesn't have ntfs permissions.

Format a usb stick as Fat32.
Copy the files to the stick.
Now copy the files to a folder that you have created.

After looking at that again, It is actually more than just users, it's also groups and built in security principals so I wouldn't delete anything.

If you want to see all users look in C:Users like this,

Follow Derekimo's advice - delete nothing.

MS has all kinds of ideas as to what groups and users need to be on our computer. A system designed for those in a corporate setting.
