Windows Application Freezes

Hello,

I have had it for a while that i get random freezes and that i can move my mouse but not use most of the application or none anymore and i have to go to task manager and then it works again.

I tried to install new windows 3 times and didnt help. I also bought new CPU, Mainbord, Memory and power supply also before that i changed my Hard Drive.
I also had problems before i replaced that hardware and now i still have so im stuck could anyone help out?

Greetings,

Which application? And is it only that one, or the entire system?

But have you tried updating the software with a newer verion, because the one you are using may not be 100% Windows 7 compatible...

Do yourself a favour, and toss that "Driver Navigator", ok?

The best place to get drivers is from the original manufacturers. For example, if you have an ASUS motherboard, then go directly to ASUS.

The one exception to this rule is with graphics cards. If your graphics is powered by nVidia, then go to nVidia. Likewise, if you use ATI, then go to ATI.

Try using this hotfix from Microsoft, which should address the random freezing issue.

If haven't tried the fix, because I don't get random freezes, but maybe it will help for you.

Thanks to forum member JMH for providing the link to the article in the thread "Windows 7 Random Freezes Fix Available"

Avoiding '<application name> is not a valid Win32 application' error.
OK, this is admittedly a strange one... I have used an old (probably a 16-bit) application as my time synchronizer this I've used for quite some time. Its name is TimeRC, and is a great synchronizer as it tracks moon phases along with the time (from selectable, multiple potential time servers)....

I disabled application info and application update in services.msc
And now I am so screwed. I can't even open services.msc, I can't install an update, I can't run updates and I can't re enable anything because I can't get into services to do it. Please don't say system restore because I disabled it. If you say get a mac, then yes, I agree!:D
