    How Long Can i Run My Desktop Continously..??


    Hi Friends.....
    I am doing BSC Animation....
    n i have to use software like 3d max n Auto desk Maya...
    these software needs more time to render a movie...
    n my PC runs continuously 24 hours to 48 hours..........for rendering a movie......
    so is it safe to run a PC continuously..??
    Plz Help Me.............

    Of course it's safe. If you had a problem with your pc overheating, that would be an issue. I have generated files that lasted 12 hours. You can also install software to monitor your pc temp. All in all, everything should be fine.

    Why would that be a problem to run your computer for 24 or 48 hours straight? Do you realize many servers are running, under load, 24x7? Some people (not me) even leave their PCs on all the time too.

    Most bios will allow for temp safety settings in bios if that is a concern...
