dotted lines ?

    What he is trying to say, and I do not testify to the validity of because I don't know, is that the Aero based themes are more GPU intensive, while classic themes are more CPU intensive. In other words the CPU is actually having to do more work than when you use the newer Aero style themes.

    ill go back to areo based thems then thankyou petey.

    but the only reson i picked classic mode was because i thought i will get mor out of my pc. and also on this fourm i seen that if you have areo off you get better perfomance. but anyway iv gone back with areo on thanks petey againe.

    petey i fixed the problem im not getting dotted lines when i switch back to classic mode. when i installed windows i let windows 7 install and find my graphics card driver but what i did to fix the problem i used drivesweeper i deleted all the old drivers then i went to ati website and downloaded the driver for my graphics card and now i dont get the doteted lines no more.
