    After a Certain amount of time the HDD is Set to Idle this can be Changed in Power options

    OK thanks - Iv'e been testing the sleep mode and everything seems to be off except the cpu fan.

    That is normal - The CPU Fan needs to be on or your CPU will Burn up very Quickly

my moniter is set to sleep after 5 minutes, the computer goes to sleep after 10 minutes, but 20 seconds later starts up again, then goes thru the cycle again
