    Does the monitor (having just the VGA monitor plugged in) get a signal when the computer boots?

    Have you tried with just the VGA monitor to see if the Monitor does in fact get a signal on its own?

    @logicearth: No it don't

    @Anthony: The GFX card has HDMI, DVI, VGA as it is now it looks like only DVI is working.

    The screen with the VGA cabel has only the VGA cabel connected and is set to VGA as input source

    @Thorsen: Yes i just tried to boot with only VGA and it still don't get a signal. But i think im gonna put in the GFX card in another computer with Win XP and see if it works then

    So the monitor with the vga connector wont get a signal, can you test it at a friends house or on the back of a laptop? We need to know if the monitor is working!!

    If the monitor gets no signal when the computer boots (Windows is not loaded or involved) that points the problem to hardware. Or a mis-configuration of the hardware.

    It is very possible for the g-card to be faulty. It happens. even brand new.
