As told above
Run an antivirus scan
Download and run a scan with malwarebytes, you may be surprised. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell XPS 420 OS Windows 7 Home Premium SP1, clean install, upgrade disc CPU Intel Core2 processsor Q8200(2.33Ghz 1333FSB) Quad Core Tech Motherboard Dell Memory 6 gb Graphics Card ATI Radeon 256MB HD3650 Sound Card Intergrated 7.1 Channel Audio Monitor(s) Displays Dell SP2009W 20" Keyboard Dell USB Keyboard Mouse Dell Premium Optical USB Cooling Fan Hard Drives 640 GB Serial ATA Hard drive Internet Speed DSL 2.85 |

It is changing into classic for some reason. Have you installed a new program, changed something, or done anything different?
Win 7 automatically changes to basic if an app needs it, if the graphics card is set to the wrong resolution etc.
There are ways to force it not to but they may damage the computer | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP Pavillion dv-7 1005 Tx OS Win 8 Release candidate 8400 CPU 2@2.4 Memory 4 gigs Graphics Card Nvidia 9600M Sound Card HD built-in Monitor(s) Displays 17" Wxga Screen Resolution 1440x900 Cooling none Internet Speed 45Mb down 5Mb up |

Follow Kens advice, and also check the graphic driver in the Device Manager, make sure it is up to date. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell XPS 420 OS Windows 7 Home Premium SP1, clean install, upgrade disc CPU Intel Core2 processsor Q8200(2.33Ghz 1333FSB) Quad Core Tech Motherboard Dell Memory 6 gb Graphics Card ATI Radeon 256MB HD3650 Sound Card Intergrated 7.1 Channel Audio Monitor(s) Displays Dell SP2009W 20" Keyboard Dell USB Keyboard Mouse Dell Premium Optical USB Cooling Fan Hard Drives 640 GB Serial ATA Hard drive Internet Speed DSL 2.85 Win.7 taskbar trouble. problems?
