    Problem

I uninstalled windows 7 just because i really didnt like it anymore, i deleted the partition and reformated the drive and copied all my files back over. Then sometime over night i lost power and my computer obviously turned off. When i turned it back on it still asks me in the bios whether i want to run earlier version of windows or windows 7.

    Everything is in my specs

Deleting the partition didn't wipe out the boot stuff. The most reliable way to do this is to run DBAN (free here: Darik's Boot And Nuke | Hard Drive Disk Wipe ) and then install your previous OS from scratch.

I take it you were duel booting. If you are keen you can give this a go.

Boot with your XP installation CD. When prompted, press R to repair, select your WinXP installation to repair.
Enter the administrator password if you are prompted for it.
To repair the MBR, type in this command: fixmbr hit enter
You will get some prompts, type Y and hit enter to carry out the repair.
Type exit to leave the console and then reboot. You should be all go.
