cant save file to c drive even im the adminstrator

    cant save file to c drive even im the adminstrator


    i cant seem to save any file everytime i download a program from the internet to my c drive(specifically under program file folder)- keep on prompting need permission from the administrator..i tried the cmd command still not working,,.can anybody pls tell me what to ,your help is highly appreciated .im getting a headache frm this issue..tq

    Did you check the folder and group permissions?

    Why would you dl a prog from the internet directly to C:/ prog files, dl and save to downloads and then install from there

    You have shot yourself in the foot.

    Never download directly there.

    Change your download location to the \Downloads folder.
