Nah, that wasn't the video editing program. I've been searching for the past 2 days and cant find my answer, that's why I figured I'd post here. Windows 7 on a Mac? Anybody have any idea what feature/program that is?
Many screen capture programs do use this feature. It is most likely part of that.

You could always ask the guy on youTube.

    Oli
I did, hopefully he answers. Didn't mean to come off as a know it all, lord knows how inexperienced I am with video editing software. I'll post back if I ever get an answer from that guy with how he did that.

Alternatively you could use Windows Magnifying Glass which is part of Windows 7.

It accomplishes what you want to do but I don't know whether it's in a format you'll like.

Make items on the screen appear bigger (Magnifier)

    Oli
as i was reading down this post thread by thread i was wondering why no one had mentioned the windows magnifier

this is more what your after though i think

thanks, I'll give that a shot. I tried magnifier and it wasn't like what's shown in the video, what's in the video is cool, magnifier makes me feel like an old geezer!

Well, I tried Zoomit, as soon as I clicked "magnify" my whole screen went black and that was all she wrote. I guess I'll pass

I just tried it with the Ctrl+1 and it zoomed for me, not real smooth, but it worked.

I dunno what happened but it wasn't cool. I had to restart in safe mode and do a system restore. I'll just learn to live iwith the issues until I get my 26" LED monitor

WIndows Key + Plus (+) Key. Built into Windows 7.
Or Search for Magnify in the Start Menu.

And yes, the built in Magnify can zoom the whole screen. Does so by default.

I guess I'll give magnifier another shot and see how that works out, no harm in that
