    Permission Problems

So here's the story. I have two partitions that I use, the main one with my OS on it and the other with files on it. So yesterday I decided I wanted to reinstall Windows just to give it a good clear out. Before I did I copied a couple folders and files from my desktop to my other partition. I then reinstalled windows. I just went to where the files I copied over are and I cant access them. Its saying I don't have permission to open them. Its various files from pictures to music.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Give yourself permission

If you cannot give permission, give ownership first

Ok Tried first giving the permissions then also gave myself ownership. However it hasn't changed anything. I can still see all the files but just can't access them.

    Thanks for the advice tho.

Get a finger drive, format to fat3. Send folder to finger, fat3 has no permissions.
