Screensaver will not work and displays will not go into standby mode

    Screensaver will not work and displays will not go into standby mode


    Last sunday my displays would go into standby mode but monday the displays will not go into standby mode nor will the screensaver work.

    Welcome to Seven Forums sthomas102. Have you made any changes that could explain the change? Have your power settings somehow changed?

    Perhaps a system restore point back to when it all worked will be the easy fix for you?

    Might want to open a cmd prompt and run the command powercfg -REQUESTS to see if there are any active requests that are preventing idle. You can also run the command powercfg -DEVICEQUERY wake_armed to see the list of devices that are currently configured to be able to wake the system from any sleep state as well, to see if anything corresponds to the output in -REQUESTS.
