Why can't you put folders in order that you want?

    Why can't you put folders in order that you want?


    I dont if can but like my pictures folder I want to put pictures in a certain order but I dont think W7 lets you do that does it?

    For files, you can right click and "sort by" name - ascending or descending.
    For folders, you can click on the "name" tab to get ascending or descending sub folders

    that was my thinking until recently , brink has a fix for that HERE

    Uhhh You no what Im just gunna keep it the way it is I'll mess something up trying to do that. It's not really that big of deal. I was just wondering.

    Very, very good Josh. Although the tutorial gives and excellent explanation, you should not try if you are not comfortable. I have seen many, many posts of members trying to fix something that they caused. The OS is good the way it is. I wish that more members felt like you.

    The simple solution (from the days of the dinosaurs!)

    Just add numbers to the folders.

    1_Personal
    2_Business
    3_Mukaka

    Lots of folders?

    001 Flowers
    023 Cars
    624 Albatrosses
      My Computer
