Stop from sharing desktop items


How can I stop different users from sharing icons? E.g. my friend downloads and uses "Weather Bug" I don't want it but it shows up on my desktop because he has it on his.

This is the reason. My account desktops are all unique.

What one user downloads should not affect other accounts.

In windows 7 the path is ..users\Default\desktop it is a hidden operating system folder-so show hidden files must be checked.

To show hidden files/folders:
Hidden Files and Folders - Show or Hide
