Clone a printer?
I would like to clone my HP7410 in order to have another set of default printing preferences. I see over at How to: Clone a Printer that this can be done by script. Under the .NET 4 heading, I saved the "VB" script as a .vbs file, but firing it brought up errors. Evidently after the Dim statement the "As" parameters are not allowed.
Then I checked, and saw no .NET programs installed in Windows 7. It seems to me that even if they are baked in, they should be enumerated for versioning clarity.
So my questions are - is .NET 4 built in? Am I right in saving that file as .vbs? And what can I do to get this script to work?
I put this here because it seems to me to have more to do with software than the hardware, but if it's a problem I'll move it to the hardware forum.
