    flv file thumbnail missing


    hi guys,im having a problem on flv video files on my video library.This all started when I run tuneup gain disk space it may have been deleted some file that something to do with thumbnail preview on flv files.Now flv files has no thumbnail preview...the player i use to play flv files is VLC.plaese help guys how to fix this

    Hi valmontgtx,

    Try to re-install VLC and set it as your default FLV player.

    flv thumbnails are back!....thanks so much for the help guys...what i did was just to reinstall vlc no registry tweaks.again,thank you.

    Uninstall TuneUp Utilities. Only a few people here use it. I don't recommend it, because it might cause system corruption like what it did to your FLV thumbnails.

    I'll second that. Too aggressive, does more harm than good. Stick to/get CCleaner far easier on your system.

    what about advanced system optimizer?does this program do more harm than good too?

    I personally have no experience of advanced system optimizer. But I steer clear of All-In-One wonder fixers. I would use CCleaner to clean up (apart from FF or IE cleanups) ERUNT to monthly compact my registry, a good defrag engine and that's about it.
