    Windows Contacts...birthdates incorrect

I have recently upgraded to Windows 7 Pro and when trying to input information in Windows Contacts, I noticed that the birthdates displayed are not the dates that I input, but the previous day's date. Am I missing something here?

The first thing that pops in my mind is your clock / date is set wrong. Look in the lower right hand corner of your screen and make sure the time, AM/PM and date is correct.

Apparently this is not a common issue. I haven't had any luck here, and I have been on Microsoft chat for a couple of hours with no result. I checked my laptop which is running Windows 7 as well, and the same issue occurs. So, is it just me, or is this a problem that is universal to 7? I'm curious.

The Microsoft tech. has suggested that my bios clock is out of sync. I almost took that as a personal attack, but apparently this is a reference to checking a setting that is a tad out of my league. He is unable to check this from his end. Can someone give me any instruction as to how to check this?

to access your BIOS See your Computer Manufacturer for more Details

Once in there you need to Change the Date and Time to the Right Time

Be warned you can only use the Keyboard in the BIOS

Also make sure you save changes when you exit the BIOS

    Hope This Helps,

Josh, That went rather well and I've done no permanent damage. :) Sadly, that was not the fix. I suspect that the Contacts feature in 7 is a load of bollocks and that the tech. is grasping at straws at this point.
I do appreciate the assistance. I feel much more at peace knowing that my bios clock is in sync. If only it were that easy to adjust the rest of my internal clocks.
    Cheers,
    C.
