    Need help with unblocking files

I am a software vendor and ship files to customers that are usually zipped. When customers extract the files on their Windows 7 machine, its blocked. I have the flexibility to run a command after the extract; is there a batch command to bulk unblock the files? I tried takeown and icalcs /grant but the unblock still shows up.

    thanks

What do you mean by blocked? What is the error message they see?

The OP is referring to how Windows will give a warning to any files you download from the internet before running it. There is no automated way to do this, if there was malicious software authors would have done it long ago. You can, however, use "streams.exe" to delete all Alternate Stream files which tells Windows the file was downloaded from the Internet.

Trying to understand what this does. Did you create the zip file then use

    streams -d filename.zip

to remove all alternate streams before shipping it out to your customers?
