How to disable the auto shortcut in desktop?

    But the files that Ive told you, will it be erased if I choose that one. see the picture

    The shortcuts would probably only be for recognised "removable media" I.e. thumb drives and CDs/DVDs.

    I'd find the culprit and disable it.

    Click your start button, then type in "msconfig" and his enter. THen click on the "Startup" tab. The offending utility may be listed there...

    You can post a screen shot of that window if you want (Sandly the sindow is not expandable, might have to take two if your list is long and you need to scroll it)

    (In fact it won't hurt to go in there and disable everything on the startup list and reboot and see if it goes away, you can then reenable things one at a time to see when it comes back)

    I just SR in aug 27. And wow!!It doesnt shows up anymore. I dont know what happened

    I think its the tweaknow cleaner. Why is it every time I clean the registry, it always stay at 1024 problems? After cleaning it, I scan it again and it still says 1024 problems? thats why i got the tweaknow, it cleaned that one

    Now get rid of the garbage like tweekcleaner. This is a computer, not meant to be pretty etc. If you use that stuff again, you will be back with more problems

    That being said I am very happy that the problem was resolved.

    And dont clean the registry.

    Im thinking, how could you do the automatic system restore point? or you should do it manually?
