During install "required CD/DVD.....

    During install "required CD/DVD.....


    I was hoping everything would go smooth upon my installing 7 fresh install till i got this "A required cd/dvd drive device driver is missing.

    I am stumped on what to do.

    Where did you get Win7?

    Did you burn it to DVD yourself? If so, burn another at 4x speed using ImgBurn.

    Or try install from USB flash stick: USB Windows 7 Installation Key Drive - Create
    Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool

    Check also that you have the latest BIOS version update, and set the SATA controller in BIOS setup to AHCI first, then IDE if necessary.

    None of the above worked for me, what I did was re-install Vista, formatted,
    then ran the update from there after needing SP1 from the compatibility report and all is good now
