"All Programs" folder appearance

Hi,

I have noticed that in the "all programs" portion of start menu that the appearance of the program folders is not uniform. Some of mine are highlighted wtih an orange horizontal band. Does anyone know why that is. I cannot figure out how to get rid of it.

Dont get rid of it, you paid for that feature. That shows that a program was used that was not used for a while and is not pinned to start menu.

Thank you for the reply. It is appearing on a program that I just installed this morning. Does that make sense?

Yes the computer had no record of its use for a long time. Just wait a while it will go away. The time depends on how many programs are used. Trust me, forget about it.
