Technically your machine is experiencing a BSOD, but it is happening so fast it never shows. Everything I've researched tells me this line, <Keywords>0x8000000000000002</Keywords> leads to a hardware failure, but the event view is not comprehensive enough.

So I would suggest that you go to this page: Crashes and Debugging - Windows 7 Forums , and follow the instructions in the sticky at the top, then post the results in a new thread there.

If you think it would help you can use this link Unexpected Shutdown to reference what we have tried to uncover here.

Thanks ever so much for making it a little bit clear to me. And yes, I will post the dump tomorrow.

    Your welcome!

If you get busy over at Crashes and Debugging, do you mind if I post a reference link here, from there for the other responders?

I'm sure they would also like to know how your situation turns out.

No one can tell you what happened, but we can offer educated guesses.
The first cause would be overheating. Do you know what the temps of your computer are during load.
Did you have a BSOD, did the screen turn blue?

    No, there was no BSOD.

Just now I just let my laptop battery drain, until it hit critical level so that it would hibernate. But instead of hibernating, it just shut down as if the battery had fully gone. So I plugged in and re-started and the 'Windows did not shut down properly screen...' came up. I think this is what happened before. Can anyone tell me what the problem could be?
Is there a re-calibrate feature for the battery in the bios? If there is, run it. It may take quite some time (hours) to complete. but it seems to me the battery is falling on its face...

If there isn't a feature in the bios, I did offer a way to re-calibrate back at the bottom of post #19.
