    Scheduled task invisible

    Hi,
I recently managed to create a musical wake up, using sheduled task and a bat file wich launches mplayerclassic and reads automatically the desired playlist.
Problem is, with this sheduled task, I can't stop the player because it doesn't appear anywhere.
I verified that I didn't checked "masked" in the general task options.
Also note that the bat file launched manually is showing the player correctly on the desktop and in the tasks manager allowing me to close it without having to reboot.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

On the "General" tab, under security options, set it to run as your curreltly logged in user, then select "Run only when user is logged in.

I was having the same problem just now.Ctrl+Shift+Esc, Show all processes, and the mplayerclassic process should be there now and you can stop it. A more elegant solution is always welcomed.

I should have cleared already that the player doesn't appears anywhere ! That means also into the tasks manager. If it was there I wouldn't have any problem to stop it.
Now untill something better comes I just have reduced the number of tracks in my playlist and added /close to the bat file.

Content of my alarm clock bat file.
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Media Player\mplayerc.exe" /play
    "D:\My Documents\My music\Wake up.mpcpl" /close
    exit
This command should close the player after the playlist has been readed.

Even if you "Show processes from all users"?
