Power Options don't work About a week ago my power options don't work. I always have my display turn off after 1 hour and now it don't work and I can't even get a screen saver to work. I went to Balanced and power saver and put on 1 minute and it don't work. Same with my screen saver, however if I do a preview on the screen saver that works. Any ideas what might be the problems? | My System Specs |

We need more clues.
What has changed on your computer in the last week? New programs? Updates? New hardware?
You could see if you have a System Restore point dated more than one week ago, before the symptoms began, and try it. You might not want to do this if you did install new hardware, in which case there are additional steps you must do first.
Did you make any BIOS changes? If your Suspend Mode has changed that might explain it.
This may seem strange, but, do you ever shut your computer off? If no, then shut it down, disconnect the power, wait 60 seconds or so, then boot up fresh. You would not believe how many problems that fixes! | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Home Built - Jan 2013 OS Windows 7 64 Bit Home Premium SP1 CPU i7-3820 Motherboard Asus P9X79-PRO - Bios 3305 Memory GSkill F3-14900CL9Q - 16GB Graphics Card EVGA GeForce GTX660 - Driver 310.90 Sound Card On board Realtek ALC898 Monitor(s) Displays Acer S271HL Screen Resolution 1920 x 1080 Keyboard MS KC-0405 Mouse Intellimouse 5-button PSU Corsair CMPSU-850TX-V2 - 850 watt (by Seasonic) Case Corsair Obsidian 550D Cooling Standard 3 120mm case fans, Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO Hard Drives #1- Samsung 840 Pro Series

Power Options don't work It's been a couple of weeks since I posted this. My power options don't work. I traveled 3500 miles with my computers in the back of my Jeep and I can't remember what started it except when I put up two monitors and now I only have the one and still won't work. I have a E6550 Intel, 4 gigs of RAM, and it's about 3 years old with a 650 power supply. I figure I need to get off my butt and start trouble shooting this problem so any ideas would be helpful and if you want any more info, I'll just edit this post.
Thanks
