does my processor support x64?

Just a quick question.

I have an Intel Pentium D 2.8ghz.

Can it support x64 or can it only support x32.

I have tried to find out for myself but my search came up cold, i could not find anything.

Cheers guys.

OEM

OS3.5

1. Open Performance Infomation and Tools (Right click my computer and select "properties" Click on Windows Experience Index)

2. Click "View and Print detailed performance and system Information".
3. In the System section, you can see what type of operating system you're currently running under System type, and whether or not you can run a 64-bit version of Windows under 64-bit capable. (If your computer is already running a 64-bit version of Windows, you won't see the 64-bit capable listing.)

I have a single core Pentium U2700 1.3Ghz in my laptop and Tesco told me it was dual so they have said they will sort it. Will my motherboard take a dual pentium? and is it worth the cost?
