What are you trying to accomplish, alvaro? Is your internet connection slow and you think it will go faster if you patch your TCP/IP stack? I never used any such patch and I don't think I have any problem that would make me think about doing so.
program example emule torrent required many connection.
i use xp with 500 limit connection and working properly
I use programs that require many connections sumultanee Italian and this limit is blocking the program
This thread will answer your questions. But make sure you read all of it. If you want an example, I have never patched my TCP/IP stack, I don't apply non-MS patches to my OS at all, but sometimes I am using bittorrent on my old XP laptop and the download speed is 2.5 MB/s. Thus, there is no need for any patching.
I understand your example. pa old programs that I use on w7 Trocche open connections and the program stops .... has an accelerator cobol
Did you read the thread I pointed out?
What is the program you're talking about?
The Half Open Connection limit you are referring to is not causing your issues. Furthermore this limit was removed in Windows 7. Someone above said it was 20, that connection limit is for SMB Connections not related. In any case Half Open Connections do not actually interfere with real connections to the internet only those that never connect to a outside source.
