Hey they should offer some sort of sizable discount for those of us who took all these great pains to continue their evaluation unwittingly . Everything (functionality-wise, if not more) is being reported back to MS as we play, and updates are coming in with some frequency, and undoubtedly in no small part as a result of their evaluation of what is being reported back. Version 7 RC is also the "Ultimate" version, and so what if it ends up costing $400 or something absolutely outrageous like that? Hey as my cousin Luigi would say, fogettabottit! Vista's not nearly as bad as all that if you're willing to give it a good massage and perhaps a large dose of e-laxative.

    What I Ended Up Doing

Could this be a solution maybe?

How To Mount and Access New Partition, Volume or Drive As Folder Path In Windows » My Digital Life

I have the same problem and Im in the process of trying it but I got 80Gb to backup first and its gonna take an hour before I can try (safely that is!).
Thanks again to All, esp. Enzo and Generator. I actually ended up doing both. I've extended C but kept a small 20 GB D partition, which I mounted as folder in C: as well. Looking good by all estimates. Cheers.
