    Relocate Show/Peek desktop icon


    Is it possible to move the Show Desktop icon from the far right of the Task Bar to the left (ie next to the Windows icon) ?

    All the icons on my desktop are on the left. So if I want to show the desktop, I have to go all the way over to the right to click the show desktop, then all the way back to the left to click on the icon I want on the desktop.

    I realise there are keyboard shortcuts to show the desktop, but I would still like to be able to move the Show Desktop icon.

    I don't think there's a way to move that to the left, but you could enable Quicklaunch, then you'll have the old style show desktop icon, along with the other two on your taskbar, and you can move them to the left side. Or you could move the taskbar to the left side of the screen and the show desktop would be at the bottom left.

is there a way to move this from the right side of the screen to the left (where it normally was) because on my laptop i do not always have a mouse and its very annoying to have to go so far across the screen to get to the desktop icon thats hiding in the bottom right corner...
I searched but didn't find the answer. :) How can I put the Show Desktop icon in the taskbar? I just want the one small icon like we have in XP. Thanks.
