    Toolbar on 2nd monitor

Is there a way to have the toolbar show up on my second monitor?

I don't think so, not without using a third party app like ultramon.

I have the 2nd monitor set to extended desktop & I can put my taskbar on the other monitor.

OK, let me rephrase that. You can put it on one or the other but not both at the same time. I assumed you meant stretch it across both monitors.

or you can have a splitter instead the two outputs on the videocard. that will think that your desktop will have 2048x768 instead of 1024x768x2 displays.

Do you have a link to said "splitter", because I have never seen or heard of anything that will do that? Any of the splitters I have seen just mirror acrose all the displays connected to it. It would be the same thing as selecting duplicate instead of extend.

Would help if you said what you are using to do so, as Windows doesn't support this feature natively.

Unless you have a card like this,

    Newegg.com - ECS NS8400GS2C-512SS-H GeForce 8400 GS 512MB 64-bit DDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready DMS 59 Low Profile Ready Video Card

all a splitter will do is give you the same thing on each monitor.

You can move it (drage it) over to the second monitor, you just can't extend or streach it acrose both at the same time.

Can do that by switching which monitor is primary as well. Still doesn't get you a taskbar on each monitor as bobland asked, without a 3rd party app.

As far as that goes, a taskbar on 3 monitors,

Then again I have a feeling z3r010 (believe it is him) has one on each of his 5 or 6 monitors, that's if he hasn't added more to it yet.

It must be the built in nvidia card , & all bobland asked was "Is there a way to have the toolbar show up on my second monitor?" not a taskbar on each monitor
