7127 won't receive updates, the only updates you will get will be driver updates and for installed Microsoft apps from Microsoft Update.

Oh, now I have them. Could it be because I'm in Denmark (a far away corner of Europe), and that Microsoft don't open for the whole world at once?
I will try and install the Danish language pack and see how good (or bad) the translation is.

if you dont want it to always say '30 optional updates' just select all of them and right-click>hide updates. for those who want to know

I attempted to install the 4 test updates and the IE8 update..
After restart, the update kept stalling configuring at 67%...
Restarted multiple times, same issue. Booted into safe mode, it stalled at reverting changes.
Booted into normal mode, failed at reverting changes.
Booted back into safe mode, this time it worked.
Rebooted back into normal mode, and my system is ok, with those updates not installed.
I have the worst luck with Windows Update, and it seems always related to an IE8 update.
