    help !!


    i have this problem when i try to move any file to another folder or partition




    what should i do

    That is telling you, you need administrative rights to work with that file.

    When you right click on that file do you see _Run as Administrator_ listed?

    If you do then click on that and it should allow you access to the file.

    and select "run as administrator"

    Just to add to this...

    I have found that sometimes you need to hold the shift key when you right click in order to get the 'Run as Administrator' option.

    You still need to select the run as administrator option thought :)

    You have to tell Windows when you want a particular program to have full control over your computer. This protects you from programs that would take control over your computer without your knowledge or consent.

    i know the problem :)

    the destination is a folder was shared in the previos windows
    i have installed new windows
    and it was read for all
    now i try to change tell me (cant share)
      My Computer

    As JD has iterated there are different levels of "Administrator"

    Run as Administrator
      My Computer

    Run as admin as suggested and take ownership of the folder.

    File Details Properties - Add, Change, or Remove
