Windows 7: Cannot access my account

I've upgraded to windows 7 timate 32 bit a few days ago but i cannot access my account transferred from my windows XP. The account was transferred with windows easy transfer and i cannot access it. The account i want was in another windows xp (on the same partition) during back up, because i wasnt able to repair that OS' installation. So the things i want are in windows xp 1 and i backed up those data on windows xp 2
Now in windows 7 It's there in the users folder but i cannot turn it into an account, log in or find it in the account section of control panel. Is there a way to do so?
If not, is it possible to copy the data from that account's document and settings into my new Win 7 account?
