    Can't run "Windows Media player" "server exclution failed error came!"


    Hello!
    I have "Windows7" OS. My PC default media player is "Windows media player" when i try to open media file this error appear.
    "The file wmploc.dll has a version number of 12.0.7600.16385 where 12.0.7600.16415 was expected.
    Windows Media Player is not installed properly and must be reinstalled.
    Do you want to install the Player from the Microsoft Web site?
    " then i followed these steps,

    UNREGMP2.EXE /UPDATEWMPVERSION

    If this does not help you can re register the wmp.dll file

    3. At the command prompt, type regsvr32 wmp.dll, and then click OK.


    Uninstalling and Reinstalling the Windows Media Player:

    Go to Start and in the search type "Turn Windows features On or Off".
    Browse to the Media Features and uncheck the mark in front of Windows Media Player.

    Reinstalling the Windows Media Player:
    Go to Start and in the search type "Turn Windows features On or Off".
    Browse to the Media Features and place a check mark in front of Windows Media Player."


    I followed its first step its not work then i followed second one after PC restart then
    If I run "Windows Media Player" then window flashes up briefly and disappearing instantly. If I try to open media file by double clicking, this error message appear "Server Execution Error" message.
    Then i followed these steps,

    4. Press enter and restart the computer

    Method 3.

    1. Go to Start and in the search type "Turn Windows features On or Off".
    2. Click on "Turn Windows features On or Off".
    3. Browse to the Media Features and place a check mark in front of Windows Media Player.
    4. Restart the Computer."
    But my problem still happen,So how do i solve this matter?

    Note-I followed that solutions in Microsoft site.

    Well, you have tried most of the things recommended. Have you run the System File Checker? This should restore original system files

    SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

    Also, a repair install should correct this

    Repair Install

    You have changed so much that you now have a different error, therefore I'd suggest one of the above. For future reference, while you had the original error, THIS may have worked as well.

    "The file wmploc.dll has a version number of 12.0.7600.16385 where 12.0.7600.16415 was expected.
    Personally i have only seen this message when i have tried to theme my WMP is this the case ,if so then you will need to replace the original wmploc.dll
