How to move sticky notes from taskbar to tray?

well I'm sure a bunch of people is pondering that question...
the sticky notes is a blessed and useful little tool, but
why the heck Microsoft went putting it in the taskbar all the freakin' time?:sarc:

hey MS, yeah i like sticky notes, but i don't want it to take up my taskbar space, you digg?:mad2:

any tip guys?

when you put a sticky note on the desktop, surprise surprise, it stays on the taskbar.

well, it shouldn't, i want it transferred to the tray icon area, or something.
just get it out of my sight :(

He does have a point, there should be an option to banish it to the tray icon area.

It stays in the notification area. The stickies roll up when not in use and you can set an alarm among other things.

Works great for me.

same thing here, it is very handy and much better than the one on Vista sidebar, but the dumb thing that it stays on the taskbar !!! :mad::mad::mad:

Media Player has the same problem It would be nice to have the options to choose taskbar or tasktray or both like Winamp does.

I like it because unlike the other gadgets, I can call it up for notetaking or lists by clicking taskbar button.
Puts note on page where I'm working.

To get the calendar you gotta show the whole desktop.
