taskbar stuck

    taskbar stuck


    i use win 7 home premiun and everytime my computer wakes up from sleep my the taskbar stays stuck for 1-2 minutes . i have downloaded a a program called process explorer to see what is running in windows explorer . i used a option in process explorer called kill the process on the programs that r running but it doesn't do anything . is there anything alse i can try ? thanks

    When you say it is stuck, do you mean frozen/un-clickable or does it not have the ability to move around the desktop?
    We also need more detail to help - how about filling in System Specs? We will find it a lot easier if you can fill it in

    it is frozen unclickable for a few min. and i filled in my specs sorry about that

    Hi, sorry I haven't been able to reply for a week.

    After research thru some forums around the net, it seems to be that the mouse is causing the problems. Have you tried ctrl-alt-delete command, then pressing cancel? If this unfreezes the taskbar, then you may need to try changing the mouse. Let us know what happens.

    hi Dom what i did last week, was i downloaded a program called procexe i ran it and it told me what is runnig under explorer.exe i eliminated them 1 by 1 till i found the problem program . it has been working fine since then . i will try ur suggestion will problem arises again thanks
