    Windows 7 password - corrupted

Hi, I have a new system (1 week old). I am 100% certain that I know the password and that it was not changed. However, the system is rejecting the password.

I had switched to a new keyboard shortly before this happened. I have switched back to the old keyboard with no success.

I do NOT have a password reset disk or a boot disk.

I have another windows 7 system that I can use to make whatever I need to recover.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks

Do you have another account with Admin access? (Use that account to change your password)

If not you can follow the tutorial by Bare Foot Kid here,
    Password Reset

    Hope this Helps

EDIT: I have to type faster! the one posted by Bare Foot Kid will also work..and the one I posted is different but will work as well it is a little more complicated..so

If you have any questions please post back

    I'm good now.

I rebooted into safe mode and for some reason, my password worked in safe mode.
I created a password recovery disk while in safe mode.
Rebooted normally and used the password recovery disk.

    Thanks!

I did not have another account by the way.
