Windows 7 64 bit - Maximize screen problem

Don't know why, but when I try and drag a window to the top of my screen to 'maximize' it, Windows 7 will minimize it to the bottom of the screen instead - where just the title bar is showing.

    What the heck???

Why is this all-of-a-sudden not working right? Thanks for the help.
