Windows 7 on an Apple

Hi. I'm new to this forum so not sure if this is the right place. Just purchased an Apple MacBook and want to use Windows 7 on it so I can edit a website I built with my PC. Otherwise I would have to rebuild the entire website because I used Yahoo Sitebuilder that requires a PC with Windows 7 to edit it.
By using Bootcamp, Apple says I can instal Windows 7 but the installation requires the complete Windows 7 disc and I only have the recovery discs. I bought a new PC several months ago that had Windows 7 preinstalled but I sold it. I paid for Windows 7 in the purchase price of the PC. Do I have to re-purchase a complete Windows 7 program or can I somehow use the one that came with my former PC that I already paid for but now sold? I am old and not too computer savvy so simplicity would be appreciated. Thank you.

Unfortunately, you'll have to purchase a new copy of Windows 7.

Start here: Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, LED LCD TV, Digital Cameras and more!

You're right, Johnathan, unless, of course, the old computer was sold sans the Win 7 that came installed on it. In that case, it might be possible to use the Win 7 installation if a call to MSFT deems it appropriate. I doubt such would occur but one never knows unless they try.

If the old computer was sold with Win 7 as the OS then, obviously, the OP needs to buy a new copy and the aforementioned scenario becomes irrelevant.
