    Windows Explorer problem

This is a very minor problem but, it keeps happening and its driving me nuts because I don't understand why its happening.

Whenever I open windows explorer fro the first time after startup, I see that explorer is in the split screen position, it takes up just the left side of the screen. I am on a netbook, small screen, so I always have explorer fully opened to fill the whole screen. Where is this half screen coming from? I have been reading here and I know that windows 7 explorer remembers the position of the last opened window. I have never closed explorer while in split screen, but I keep seeing it. Whats wrong and any suggestion on what I can do?

Try expanding it to full screen one more time, then hold down the Ctrl key and click on File then Close. Open it again to make sure it opens in full screen, then reboot and see what happens.

Thanks, I tried what you said and it worked. No more frustration. I probably did something to save the windows setting when I was messing with the split screen when I first got this netbook.
