Windows 7 Home Premium IIS WEB server
I have a machine running WIndows 7 Home Premium (32 bit) that I want to use as a small WEB server on my home network to support some WEB development. After reading conflicting stories about Home Premium supporting IIS I loaded WEB PI, MySQL, PHP, phpmyAdmin, and Wordpress. I can work on the machine using localhost but get an odd result when connecting with another computer on my LAN. I have the ports open in the firewall. The networked machine loads portions of the WEB page, the graphics are missing and the text is miss formatted. The question is; is this a limitation of Home Premium? Or still something on permissions and firewall? Does anyone have IIS running on Home Premium with external LAN access that works?
