You could always try it the manual way.
Right-click the folder and select 'Properties' and under the Security tab click 'Advanced'
Under 'Owner' click 'Edit' and select your user, then make sure the 'Replace ownder on subcontainers and objects' is checked then click 'Apply' then 'Ok'
This should then run through the File/Folder properties script and hopefully you should be able to delete the folder.
