    aero?


    I downloaded the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor and my question is windows Aero a requirement for windows 7 to work.

    Also here is a copy of the report as follows:

    Hi RATEDRSUPERFAN, welcome to the forums ,Aero is not really an essential part of Win7 ,although it gives you a better graphical user experience, you will only be able to use basic themes etc hope this helps you :) her is a link to one of our excellent tutorials Aero - Enable in Unsupported Editions of Windows 7 I do not know if this will work for you

    Yep, you should have no problem installing Windows 7 even though your video card doesn't support Aero.

    Aero is just the bells and whistles.

    Aero is not needed. I have aero turned off on my netbook and performance is definitely better. My netbook is rather under powered.

    So it will look like a netbook that running stater edition, cool. I was just wondering how do i figure out what my integrated graphics are?

    Speccy is a brilliant program for SYSTEM Info, you can also go to RUN and type in msinfo32 and then hit enter for SYSTEM Info as well.
