    weird keyboard

I have recently re-booted PC and when trying to run my printer program, I input run then C:and then, instead of a backward slash appearing, it shows instead an accented È --this means I can not access any software. Other keys are likewise infected----Éé shows when pressing forward slash or question mark--- Can anyone offer a solution please

Have a looky here pal, it seems you may have the french or french/canadian keyboard layout selected by accident.

    keyboard-input-language-add-remove

Just follow the instructions to remove the incorrect one.

You may have pressed Ctrl & Shift or the Alt & Shift keys at the same time for just a little too long. Press and hold Ctrl-Shift or Alt-Shift for 5-10 seconds and then let go of them to reverse it.
